🎵 T e r p s i c h o r e 🏛️

One of the nine muses - daughters of Zeus, Terpsichore was a goddess of dance, and lyrical poetry. Between her and her eight sisters, they represented such pursuits as art, music, dance and science to name a few. She has often been depicted, as she is here, holding a lyre. One of my favourite sculptures is Terpsichore, by Antonio Canova.
